Our air-conditioned room was spacious and inviting, equipped with a comfortable sitting area and a lovely balcony where we could unwind while sipping on ginger tea. The resort's outdoor pool provided a moment of peace and relaxation, allowing us to soak up the sun in tranquil surroundings, often entirely to ourselves. I was particularly impressed by the welcoming staff, who struck the perfect balance between being attentive and allowing us to savor our time together. With delightful meals available at the on-site restaurant, we indulged in both local and international cuisine - a culinary adventure that complemented the stunning views of Sigiriya Rock in the distance. For anyone looking to explore, the complimentary bicycles offered a fun way to discover the nearby natural parks, making Ehalagala not just a place to stay but a gateway to memorable adventures. Whether you're a couple in search of romance or a solo traveller yearning for tranquility, this resort ticks all the boxes for a blissful getaway.
